About Michele Niklaus

Since April 2019, Michele Niklaus has served as a volunteer for Mommies Matter, an Ohio-based nonprofit that aims to empower pregnant single mothers in crisis. Michele Niklaus holds a bachelor’s in psychology with a focus in business administration from Washington & Jefferson College.

Ms. Niklaus attended the college on an academic scholarship and graduated cum laude with a grade point average of 3.68. During her time there, she served as president of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and took a lead role in two college theatre productions: 42nd Street and Hello, Dolly. She was also one of four students chosen to receive a Presidential Award during her studies.

During her college career, Michele Niklaus worked part-time at a pharmacy, which provided her with the experience that aided her work as an executive sales consultant for the national pharmaceutical company Novartis between 2001 and 2008 and as a senior sales consultant with Glaxo SmithKline Pharmaceuticals between 1997 and 2001. In addition to her volunteer work with Mommies Matter, Ms. Niklaus also serves as the Co-Director of the Columbus Catholic Women's Conference. In this position, she is responsible for overseeing speaker, venue and vendor/organization contracts, logistics, hospitality and food service planning, media coverage, and sponsorship for fundraising.
